The roster
GTZ AI Works, Southern Colorado's Managed Intelligence Provider (MIP), builds you a small team of AI agents, and this one is the front desk that never goes to voicemail. An AI agent is software that does a real job for you on its own, and this one will answer calls and chats around the clock, book appointments straight into your calendar, and pass anything tricky to a human. It is on our roadmap, and we are building it now.
The problem
You know how this goes. The phone rings while your hands are full, or it rings after you have closed for the day, and the caller does not leave a message. They just dial the next shop on the list. Front-desk work is relentless like that. Someone has to answer, take the basic questions, and get the appointment on the calendar, and that someone is usually you, at the worst possible moment. It is not that the calls do not matter. There just are not enough hours, and the phone does not wait for a good time.
How it will work
Someone reaches out at any hour, by phone or by chat. It does not matter if you are on a job, asleep, or already on another line.
It picks up, handles the routine questions in your voice, and drops the appointment straight onto your calendar. No phone tag, no scribbled note that goes missing.
Anything it cannot or should not handle on its own goes to you, with the context attached. It would rather reach a real person than guess.
Where this one stands
We will say this plainly, because we would rather under-promise than oversell. The AI Front Desk is not running yet, not inside GTZ and not for clients. It is on our roadmap, and we are building it now. Four of our five agents already run inside GTZ today, and once this one is solid we will hold it to the same bar before it answers a single one of your calls. No ship date we cannot stand behind. When it is ready, the waitlist hears first.
You stay in control
The agent will cover the routine calls and the easy bookings. The second a call needs a real person, it will route the caller to you with the context attached.
If a caller asks something outside what it is set up to handle, it gets you instead of making something up. Reaching a human is the safe default, not the exception.
You decide how it sounds, what it can book, and where the line sits between what it handles and what you take. It works on your terms.

Not yet, and we will not pretend otherwise. Four of our five agents already run inside our own shop, and the Front Desk will earn its place the same way before it reaches you.
